Ceftriaxone is indicated for the treatment of infections due to susceptible organisms, including lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract and biliary tract infections, abdominal infections, pelvic infections, infection due to skin, soft tissue, bone and joints, sepsis, meningitis and preoperative prophylaxis of infections.
